Lynn Shirk of Hummelstown, PA has be fascinated by the patterns and colors that exist in nature. The spiral of a nautilus shell and the iridescence of butterfly wings are two sources of her inspiration that can be observed in her work. As a Dichroic Glass and Hammered Copper Jewelry artist she creates unique jewelry pieces. Her new hammered copper and spiral pieces are stunning!
Multi-talented, Jana MacGinnes of Harrisburg, PA brings her love of botanicals and creativity to the Gift Shop. "I love to cook and seldom use recipes.
Salt is precious. It re-mineralizes our body and can change the taste of food from good to excellent. So I began to search for the best salts and freshest herbs that were of high quality and had consistency in taste, texture and natural coloring."
Packaged in glass test tubes ensures freshness.
Jana also creates wonderful botanical soaps which are featured in the gallery.
Jan Lipensky, of Annville, PA has been honing her skills in the art of glass fusing since 2011. Her passion began by utilizing the magnificent colors that are available in dichroic and art glass, creating one-of-a-kind pieces of fused glass jewelry. Woodworker Jason Smeltz of Palmyra, PA is a father, husband and Veteran, U.S. Army. “Working with wood has become a mental escape from my workday spent fixing equipment and problem solving. It is a satisfying way to express my creativity while learning new techniques and ways to coax the most out of the appearance of a piece of wood by letting the natural beauty and color be showcased.
I use high quality wood and source most of my material from a local sawmills and furniture maker.”
Joan Maguire's love of essential oils, natural skin care products and experimenting with recipes led to creating these artful apothecary products which were sold at the Harrisburg Millworks for many years. The line features bath soaks , sugar scrubs & lavender sachets.

Each sugar scrub is available to try before you buy. Lovely bath soaks with their own muslin bags are sure to relax. New to the Gallery is Emily Bidlingmeyer who does stunning Raku pottery.
"I've spent my life searching for my creative outlet. I signed up for an 8-week pottery class in 2021 and just kept going. I can't imagine life without it. Most of my work is wheel thrown and fired in an electric kiln.
In 2023 I took a Raku workshop. In Raku, pieces are pulled from the kiln while still red hot and cooled rapidly. After a process that takes weeks of preparation, the pottery transforms relatively quickly in the Raku firing. The process is amazing, the resulting pottery is the icing on the cake."
We welcome Emily as our new creator!
